Payment Plans
Payment in full: Full payment for the upcoming school year made by the first day of class.
Quarterly payment plan: This option consists of four one quarter tuition payments in August, October, January and March.
Monthly payment plan: Payments are due the 15th of each month beginning July 15 and ending April 15 of that academic year. Payments are made through Tuition Management Systems, an independent financial service organization that allows families to divide tuition cost into monthly payments.
Tuition Assistance
Financial wealth should not determine access to the best education, nor should it shape a learning community. The unparalleled ambition of Latin School’s tuition assistance and the Academic Advancement Fund, funded through alumni generosity, enables us to offer tuition assistance to nearly one-third of CLS students, across a broad spectrum of financial circumstances. We believe that no deserving student should be denied a Covington Latin education due to demonstrable financial need.
To assess financial need, we require families to submit a Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application which are available in our main office or by clicking here for the printable PDF version of the 2012-2013 PSAS. Applicants must include Latin's School Code, 1277, and also submit the first page of the most recent IRS 1040 form to PSAS.
The priority deadline for tuition assistance applications is April 30.
Other forms of Assistance
• Incoming students who score a 98% or 99% on the entrance exam qualify for the Regents’ Scholarship in the amount of $800.00.
• Continuing students are eligible for academic scholarships awarded at the fall Honors Assembly. Six scholarships are awarded in each grade level. These awards range from $300.00 to $600.00 and are made possible by the generous support of our business partners, APT, alumni and friends.
• A $400.00 tuition credit may be obtained through students’ participation in our work study program; primarily light-duty after school jobs. Work study applications are available in the main office and must be returned to CLS along with the first page of the most recent IRS 1040 form.
• $400.00 tuition credits are offered for each additional sibling enrolled at Latin School.
