We are proud parents of two CLS graduates and both had tremendous experiences at Latin School. They were originally drawn to the School by its friendly, small community feel as well as its solid reputation for strong academics. While challenging and comprehensive, the faculty was always there to give extra support when and where needed with their studies. We believe the curriculum, with its emphasis on language and the classics along with strong math and science coursework, amply prepared them for their college careers.
Their spiritual faith was also nurtured during these critical years not only through daily prayer, the religion courses and weekly Mass but with many opportunities to serve in the urban community surrounding Latin School. Our children, now young adults, easily found their own place within the close-knit Latin School community, forming friendships that will undoubtedly last throughout their lives. They both took advantage of the many opportunities in athletics and learned valuable lessons in teamwork and persevering when the odds are against you! As students during their time at CLS and even now as graduates/alums, they are blessed to be part of a school family that truly excels in its Motto: not only in knowledge and discipline but an overriding goodness.
