Alumni Banquet
The Alumni Banquet is an annual event offered to honor alumni who have made a distinctive and significant difference in the lives of others. It will be held on Saturday, October 13 in our new Forum at Latin School with cocktails beginning at 6 p.m. Reservation information will be mailed in August.
In keeping with the school motto of Bonitatem et Disciplinam et Scientiam Doce Me (Teach me Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge) and the spirit supporting excellence in which the school has operated since its inception, seven outstanding individuals will be honored this year and nominations are now being requested for the award categories:
Bonitatem - service to the community
Disciplinam - performance in profession
Scientiam - excellence in education
Distinguished Alumnus - excellence in profession, service to CLS and to the community
Distinguished Young Alumnus - 1982-99 graduate with similar criteria to that of Distinguished Alumnus
Honorary Alumnus - someone who has been supportive of the school but not a graduate
Please submit your nominations along with the nominees' credentials by February 29 to Cinda Rudolph, Director of Annual Fund, Alumni Relations and Special Events at development@covingtonlatin.org or by calling 859.261.4049.
Alumni Golf Outing
This event is a great opportunity to reunite with alumni of all generations for an afternoon of leisure. The 2012 Annual Alumni Golf Outing is scheduled for Thursday, July 26 at Twin Oaks Golf Course.
Nite at Turfway Park
Please consider joining us for our fifth annual outing on Friday, March 23, 2012 for a casual night of fun and fellowship. CLS alumni host a large, private room, complete with cashier/ticket-taker and an array of appetizers and drinks. Career Day
This event offers alumni-led presentation sessions to Latin School students on a variety of professional disciplines. It occurs on Friday, April 20 from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. If you would like to be a presenter, please contact Cinda Rudolph, Director of Annual Fund, Alumni Relations and Special Events at development@covingtonlatin.org or by calling 859.261.4049 with your profession, contact information, topic and any suggestions for the day or if any special accommodations for your presentation will be required. Please also furnish your contact information in case you will need to be reached for clarification.
2012 Reunions for class years ending in 2 or 7 (1962, 1967, etc.)
Contact the Alumni Office for your class contact information. Tours can be arranged of the newly renovated school and new school building to coincide with your reunion plans. The annual Alumni Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, October 13th here at the school if you are interested in combining your reunion with the Alumni Banquet.
Reunion Class Gift Initiative
