Conversation with CLS Admissions

For many families, a simple conversation with our CLS Admissions team is a great place to start. This conversation can happen on the phone, via email, over Zoom or even in person. To set up a conversation, please email us at admissions@covingtonlatin.org.

Following a conversation with our Admissions team, families can choose one of three ways to continue the admissions process. We have families pick any or all of the following three options for their next steps, so let's take a moment to detail each one.

1. Private Tours

CLS offers private tours for families and their students throughout the year. These tours typically last 1.5 to 2 hours, and include a full building tour with our Admissions team and an opportunity to sit down and ask questions one-on-one with our Director for Enrollment Management and Marketing.

2. Shadow days

CLS also offers a VIP Day for prospective students who want to learn what it is like to be a Trojan for the day. Prospective students will have a current student as their guide throughout the entire day, and they will follow their guide to their classes, lunch, and more. The VIP Days run from 7:45am to 3:00pm on select days throughout the academic year.  

3. Entrance Exam

Some families have chosen to start their journey with our Entrance Exam, while this may be the final step for other families. Regardless of when you choose to take the entrance exam, it is required for any students in grades 4–7 wishing to enter Covington Latin School.
