One of the opportunities provided by the creation of Essendi Days is increased time dedicated to serving our local community. 

Service has always been a cornerstone of the Covington Latin School experience, and our curriculum update allows for more learning opportunities through community outreach and service. 

Throughout the year, students visit local community support centers, nonprofit organizations, and other locations providing essential services to underserved groups. Covington Latin School follows the example set by Christ to love our neighbors and give freely of our time, talent, and resources to benefit others. 

The service opportunities provided by Essendi Day supplement a student’s required yearly service hours.
